Materials:
*The Materials you would like to make your embellishment out of - I used fake flowers and leaves
Other ideas: feathers, buttons, miniature stuff, parts and pieces..anything you want!
*A small amount of felt
*Glue gun
*Scissors
If you are using flake flowers then make sure you cut the stems really really short
Note: you can glue them back together if this makes the flower fall apart
Take your felt and arrange you chosen materials on the felt until you are happy with how it looks then start glueing (the fun part, have I ever shared with you guys how much I love hot glue!)
Note: you don't have to be such a messy hot glue-er....not if you don't want to. Don't be afraid to be very generous with the glue.
Once you are done gluing your arrangement, let the glue dry for a minute
Now take your scissors and trim all the extra felt away. After your done, it should look something like this:
Now that you have a very nice felt base, you can glue it to whatever you want!
I had a lot of fun doing this today and plan on collecting some more goodies to do some more interesting arrangements.
