Isabelle Headband

Babies really don't need much decor because they are so beautiful all by themselves but if your gonna do it (because it's fun!) this is such an EASY and sweet little project that works up quick.
This little pattern gives instructions on making a headband in any size (newborn to adult)

Materials:
number 10 cotton thread
#3 steel crochet hook
Scissors
Small yarn needle
13 - 18"'s of elastic
Small amount of felt in the same color as your thread
hot glue

Small Crocheted Flower
Ch 2
Rnd 1 - work 6sc's into the 2nd ch from hk. (6)
Rnd 2 - work (sl st, ch 2, 2dc, ch 2) into each st around. sl st into last petal and fasten off (6 petals formed)
Weave in ends.

See below for suggested length of elastic - may vary depending on actual size of  head and stretch in your elastic.
Newborn: 13"
3-6 mo: 14"
6-12 mo: 15"
Toddler: 16"
Child: 17"
Adult: 18"

Cut small circle of felt that will fit behind flower without being seen.

Assemble headband:
Hot glue ends of elastic together to form your headband.
Cover the joined ends with hot glue and place the little flower on top of join.
Now lightly cover you felt with glue and place on the back of the flower for a nice finish.
Thank you so much to little Isabelle and Elly!
